Shipping Restrictions
Obleek Builds ships custom-fabricated products, components, and digital files throughout the United States and internationally. However, certain jurisdictions may have restrictions on specific materials, components, technical data, or finished products. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that products and files ordered comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
If a shipment or transfer is prohibited by law in your jurisdiction, you must immediately return the item or cease use of digital files for a full refund.
Export Restrictions
Products, technical data, designs, and services provided by Obleek Builds may be subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations enforced by the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce, or U.S. Department of the Treasury.
It is unlawful and strictly prohibited to export, re-export, transfer, or sell any product, technical drawing, CNC file, 3D model, or service to any foreign party without proper authorization from the U.S. Government. This includes digital files and technical specifications.
U.S. law prohibits the sale, transfer, or export of items to embargoed countries and entities on government restricted lists. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify compliance with all applicable restrictions.
The buyer assumes full responsibility for compliance with all applicable export laws and regulations. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.

California Proposition 65 Warning
WARNING: Some products sold by Obleek Builds may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
This warning applies to products that may contain or be manufactured using materials such as metals, plastics, resins, adhesives, coatings, finishes, or composite materials.

FCC Compliance
Products containing electronic components, radio frequency devices, or electromagnetic emissions may be subject to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations under Part 15 or other applicable sections of FCC rules.
FCC Part 15 Notice: Electronic devices fabricated by Obleek Builds may not have been independently tested or certified for FCC compliance. The buyer is responsible for ensuring that any electronic products meet FCC requirements before commercial sale, distribution, or operation.
Products intended for commercial sale containing RF transmitters, processors, or switching power supplies must be tested and certified by an FCC-accredited laboratory. Obleek Builds can fabricate prototypes and enclosures but does not provide FCC certification services.

CE Marking & European Compliance
Products intended for sale or distribution in the European Union may require CE marking to demonstrate compliance with applicable EU directives, including but not limited to:
Low Voltage Directive (LVD)
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC)
Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)
Machinery Directive
Radio Equipment Directive (RED)
Obleek Builds does not provide CE certification or testing. Buyers are responsible for obtaining necessary certifications, declarations of conformity, and technical documentation required for EU distribution.
RoHS & REACH Compliance
Obleek Builds makes reasonable efforts to source materials that comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive and the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation when feasible. However, custom fabrication projects may use materials specified by the client or required by the application that fall outside RoHS/REACH compliance.
Buyers are responsible for specifying RoHS and REACH compliance requirements at the time of quote if necessary for their application. Documentation and material certifications are available upon request where applicable.
FDA & Food Contact Safety
Products intended for food contact, medical use, or pharmaceutical applications are subject to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations. Obleek Builds can fabricate products using FDA-compliant materials when specified, but does not provide FDA registration, certification, or validation services.
Buyers are responsible for:
Specifying food-safe or medical-grade material requirements at the time of order
Ensuring products meet FDA regulations for their intended use (21 CFR for food contact, 510(k) for medical devices, etc.)
Obtaining necessary FDA approvals, registrations, or certifications
Validating that fabricated products are suitable and safe for their intended application
Materials claimed as "food-safe" or "FDA-compliant" are based on manufacturer certifications and do not constitute validation for specific applications or processes.
UL, CSA & Electrical Safety
Products containing electrical components may be subject to safety standards enforced by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA), or other nationally recognized testing laboratories (NRTLs).
Obleek Builds does not provide UL or CSA certification services. Products requiring certification for commercial sale or building code compliance must be tested and listed by an accredited laboratory. Buyers are responsible for obtaining necessary safety certifications and ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable building codes.
OSHA & Workplace Safety
Products intended for use in commercial or industrial workplaces may be subject to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that products meet applicable OSHA standards, including machine guarding, lockout/tagout requirements, and hazard communication standards.
Safety labels, operating instructions, and risk assessments are the buyer's responsibility unless specifically included in the scope of work.
Automotive & DOT Compliance
Automotive components and accessories may be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regulations, including Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS).
Obleek Builds fabricates custom automotive components but does not certify compliance with FMVSS or DOT regulations. Products intended for on-road use must be evaluated for compliance by the buyer or end-user. Off-road and racing applications may have different requirements.
Buyers assume all responsibility for ensuring automotive products are legal and safe for their intended use.
Aerospace & Military Specifications
Products intended for aerospace, defense, or military applications may be subject to specific material certifications (e.g., AMS, MIL-SPEC), traceability requirements, and export control regulations (ITAR/EAR).
Obleek Builds can fabricate to specified standards when requirements are clearly defined at the time of quote, but does not maintain AS9100 or ISO 9001 certification. Material certifications and traceability documentation are available upon request for qualifying projects.
Hazardous Materials & Transportation
Products containing or manufactured with hazardous materials may be subject to regulations enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Buyers are responsible for:
Proper classification, labeling, and packaging of hazardous materials for transportation (49 CFR)
Compliance with hazardous waste disposal regulations
Providing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to end-users when applicable
Meeting state and local environmental regulations
Obleek Builds will provide available SDS documentation for materials used in fabrication upon request.
Patent & Intellectual Property Notice
Buyers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered do not infringe on existing patents, trademarks, or copyrights. Obleek Builds does not conduct patent searches or freedom-to-operate analyses.
By placing an order, the buyer represents and warrants that:
They have the legal right to produce or distribute the requested product
The product does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
They will indemnify and hold harmless Obleek Builds from any claims of infringement
Digital files, technical drawings, CNC programs, and 3D models provided by Obleek Builds are licensed for the buyer's specified use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or transferred to third parties without written permission.
Consumer Product Safety
Products intended for consumer use may be subject to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulations, including but not limited to:
Children's products (CPSIA testing and certification)
Flammability standards
Lead and phthalate content limits
Labeling and tracking requirements
Obleek Builds does not provide CPSC testing or certification. Buyers are responsible for ensuring consumer products meet all applicable safety standards before sale or distribution.
Material Safety & Handling
Some projects involve materials that require special handling, storage, disposal, or personal protective equipment (PPE). Buyers are responsible for:
Understanding and complying with all safety regulations related to products received
Reviewing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) when provided
Following proper disposal procedures for materials in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
Using appropriate PPE when handling, installing, or working with products
Safety Data Sheets are available upon request for products where applicable.
Warranty Disclaimer
Custom-fabricated products are manufactured to specifications provided or agreed upon at the time of order. Obleek Builds makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
Fitness for a particular purpose beyond the stated specifications
Compliance with industry standards, certifications, or regulatory requirements unless explicitly included in the scope of work
Performance in specific applications or environments
Longevity or durability beyond normal use conditions
Buyers are responsible for validating that products are suitable for their intended application.
Limitation of Liability
Obleek Builds is not responsible for:
Misuse, modification, or improper installation of products
Failure to follow safety guidelines, operating instructions, or material handling requirements
Use of products in applications outside their intended or specified purpose
Damage resulting from improper storage, transportation, or environmental conditions
Failure to obtain necessary certifications, testing, or regulatory approvals
Claims arising from non-compliance with regulations when compliance was not specified in the scope of work
Buyers assume all risk and responsibility for the suitability, safe use, and regulatory compliance of custom-fabricated products in their intended application.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project in question.

Compliance requirements and regulations change frequently. Information on this page is provided for general guidance and may not reflect the most current legal requirements. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify compliance with all applicable laws and regulations at the time of order and use.
Obleek Builds reserves the right to update these compliance notices at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
