Prototypes you can actually use

A render won't survive a drop test. We build functional prototypes you can hold, test, break and pitch, starting from a napkin sketch, a CAD file, or an existing part. Then we fix what testing found and build the next one.

What we build

  • Functional prototypes for fit, form and function testing
  • Looks-like and works-like prototypes for pitches and investors
  • Fixtures, jigs and tooling
  • Replacement and improved parts from reverse engineering

How we build

3D printing, CNC machining and fabrication, matched to what the prototype needs to prove. When it's ready for more than one, we can take it into low-volume manufacturing.

Size, speed and files

Anything from tiny components up to car-sized builds. Complicated projects typically take 1 to 2 weeks. You own every file: native CAD for SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Siemens NX and more, plus STEP.

FAQ

Do I need CAD to get started? No. A sketch, photos or an existing part is enough. We'll handle the engineering and the CAD.

Can you take it to production? Yes. We do small production runs without big-factory minimums.

Do you come to us? Yes. We're based in Dartmouth, MA, and travel to clients to get the job done.
