By using this website or engaging Obleek Builds for services, you agree to these terms.

Services & Quotes

Obleek Builds provides custom design, fabrication, product development, and on-site build services. All quotes are estimates based on the information provided and may be adjusted if project scope changes. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise specified. A project minimum of $250 applies to all engagements.

Scope, Revisions & Change Orders

Scope is locked once a quote is signed. Any additions, new features, or changes in direction require a written change order and will be billed separately.

Two (2) rounds of revisions are included per project phase. A "revision" is a modification to existing approved work. New features, scope additions, or changes in direction are not revisions — they are change orders.

Complexity and classification of revision requests is determined solely by Obleek Builds. Revisions requiring significant rework may be reclassified as change orders.

Revision requests must be submitted within 7 business days of receiving the deliverable to the email address on file. It is the client's responsibility to review within this window. After 7 business days with no feedback, the deliverable is deemed approved. Auto-approval is final.

Additional revision rounds beyond the included two are billed at $85/hr with a 1-hour minimum per round.

Concept Approval

When a concept or direction approval phase is included, concept approval confirms creative direction only. Final geometry, tolerances, dimensions, and fitment are refined in subsequent phases. Concept approval does not guarantee the final design will be identical to the concept model.

Component Sourcing

Obleek Builds determines whether component sourcing is required based on project scope. If sourcing is deemed unnecessary, that line item will be waived.

Payment Terms

  • Phases with a standard rate (before any discounts) under $250 are due upfront before work begins. All other phases are due upon completion of that phase.

  • Deliverables for each phase are held until that phase's payment has cleared. No files, documents, or work product will be released prior to payment.

  • Work on the next phase will not begin until the prior phase is paid in full and cleared.

  • Deposits and phase payments are non-refundable once work on that phase has commenced.

  • Invoices unpaid after 30 days of issue are subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee on the outstanding balance.

  • Payment methods accepted: PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, Check, or ACH.

Electronic Signatures

Both parties may consent to the use of electronic signatures for agreements pursuant to M.G.L. ch. 110G (Massachusetts Uniform Electronic Transactions Act). Electronic signatures carry the same legal effect as handwritten signatures when both parties have agreed to conduct business electronically.

Timeline & Project Start

Estimated timelines assume timely client feedback and approvals. Delays on the client side — including delays in communication, feedback, approvals, or delivery of reference materials — may shift the delivery schedule accordingly.

Project start is defined as the date all required steps are completed, including signed quote, delivery of all reference materials, and receipt of any required upfront payment.

Dormancy & Re-Engagement

If a project is inactive for 30 or more days due to client non-response, Obleek Builds reserves the right to re-quote the remaining scope at current rates. A re-onboarding fee of $150 minimum applies to resume work on dormant or cancelled projects that are restarted after 30 or more days of inactivity.

Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of any designs or concepts you provide to us.

  • We retain ownership of our methods, processes, and techniques.

  • Deliverables for each phase become your property upon full payment of that phase.

  • We reserve the right to photograph and display completed projects in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Limitation of Liability

Obleek Builds provides services "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project in question.

Warranties & Third-Party Production

We stand behind our work. We will correct any defects in workmanship within 90 days of delivery at no additional charge. This warranty applies to physical goods produced by Obleek Builds only and does not cover damage from misuse, modification, or normal wear and tear.

Digital deliverables — including CAD files, BOMs, technical drawings, and documentation — are not warranted.

Obleek Builds is not responsible for print failures, manufacturing defects, or material performance resulting from third-party production. Files are delivered production-ready; production outcomes are the responsibility of the manufacturer.

Cancellation

Projects may be cancelled by either party with written notice. You are responsible for payment of all work completed, materials purchased, and non-refundable phase payments for any phase where work has commenced.

A $250 project minimum fee applies to all projects regardless of cancellation. This reflects the minimum cost of project setup, administration, and resource allocation. Any payments already made are applied toward this minimum; any remainder is due upon cancellation.

Storage & File Retention

Physical goods: Completed physical goods must be picked up or accepted within 14 days of completion notice. After 14 days, a storage fee of $25 per week applies until pickup or acceptance.

Digital files: Digital files are made available for download for 30 days from the date the download link is provided via email. After 30 days, files are taken offline. Retrieval after the 30-day window is subject to a $50 fee per request. Obleek Builds is not obligated to retain files indefinitely and may permanently delete files at its discretion after the 30-day window.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States of America. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bristol County, Massachusetts.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
